Cricket, pre 1950 cars, Rugby Union, Cooking, Vintage advertising & collectibles, Hitchiker's Guide To The Galaxy; in a word, boring.
The Golden Snitch has had some work done and put a bit of wood on, it seems.
A quick observation capturing the angel Christmas street lights behind the TFL Roundel logo at the entrance to Oxford Circus tube station.

The roundel looks like it has angel wings.

Looks like it's the other side of Manchester's turn to help us out of a financial problem. Good of them to take it in turns.

Quarter page ad from Januay 1947's Illustrated Sporting and Dramatic News mag for one of the newfangled Triumph 1800 Roadsters. As children, my sister and I went from Lancashire to Scotland in those folk down seats it mentions. Saying they could take two adults is fraudulent misrepresentation.

Taking a quick, early lunch break and watching the new Great British Bake Off episode on Netflix.

One of the bakers is making a tall mushroom cake for his signature.

Ah, Knebworth Park. Once played there for Northwood 2nd XI and batted right through Robbie Williams' sound check. Neither of us entertained you. Or anyone else. At least not that afternoon.
Feel like posting something like:

“Knebworth, mad fer it? Yeah!”

In amongst all the nonsense a lovely thing. The small town of Amersham in Buckinghamshire has an annual Heritage Day, which celebrates our local history and all the cultures making us a great place to live. I'm biased towards old cars so here's pics of mine and some others today.

Absolute delight to see Mel Jones given the MCC Spirit of Cricket award, particularly for her part in helping the Afghanistan women's team.

Fabulous player, insightful commentator and now taking positive action to improve the game and the World around her. A frightfully good egg. #spiritofcricket

My late uncle's Triumph Roadster, recently recommissioned and running nicely for the first time in a few years. We'll gloss over the condition of the interior for the time being.
