Cardboard advent calendars are so much better than chocolate advent calendars. I didn't even like chocolate advent calendars as a kid. Give me some fantastic artwork of a robin and I'll a small square of shite chocolate some other time, thanks.

Plus, of course, we're well into the "footpath and gutter chutney" season, where those of us who walk, wheel or cycle have to navigate the stuff, but the rest of the roads are miraculously clear...

False positive rate in screening is a really tricky thing to get your head around on a personal level.

It is a great scheme - & the science is pretty simple/old.
Important thing to remember that in this screening test you get lots of false positives - which is OK because there is an good gold standard test as a next line. However, false positives can be very anxiety provoking so hope yours is OK.
