This painting is a little misleading - the bearded buckskin look wasn’t popular in his day. It was the common practice to be clean shaven, even when exploring the furthest reaches. He probably looked more like this.

Been laughing about this for over a week now. Is the video “good for tv”? Presumably! But then it makes you wonder: am I grossing my tv out playing videos that are bad for it? What on earth does this mean?

Here’s a drawing of it - fun to imagine the warf there too. It must have been teeming w life most days. There was also a fairly substantial village next to the fort, making it a busy and significant trading hub for the people in the area.

Just got this in the mail from my old man - shot 248 years ago to the day! How’s that for a weird coincidence?

Super proud of @mskyros.bsky.social becoming the first Green Mountain Champion. I bet he was a jerk about it, but he’ll be a good champion for you, Vermont. My dudes gotta start using “Moonlight in Vermont” as entrance music though

Blown away by the wood carving my old man’s been doing. He’s also carving the stock of his new Hawkin rifle

Been trying to loosen my line up; to be both more decisive and less fussy, so I’ve been pausing movies and quickly sketching a scene. This was from “La Truite” last night. weird one, but interesting
