Every time I see this song mentioned I think they're talking about the ant and the rubber tree plant song for a moment

You can't possibly be this stupid
January 26, 2026 at 2:13 PM
Capitalism cares only about profits. Mass rape, murder, and genocide only matter to capitalists if they impact profits.
January 26, 2026 at 4:16 AM
They aren't "nominally capitalist", they are purely capitalist, just like America.

Do you think there's some hidden aspect of capitalism where there's a gem of compassion and empathy that is part of it's driving force?
January 26, 2026 at 4:13 AM
Capitalism isn't freedom for everyone, only for the wealthy. We are seeing capitalism manifest right now.

Russia has simply become more American. American capitalism is a cancer destroying the world. It is a monstrous evil.
January 26, 2026 at 4:06 AM
What's the economic system in Russia?
January 26, 2026 at 3:09 AM
It does, in fact, mean it represents entirely different interests with a completely different ideology.
January 26, 2026 at 3:06 AM
Allowing market manipulation *is* unfettered capitalism.

I don't think you know what central planning is, because it's not agricultural subsidies or whatever you're thinking about here.
January 25, 2026 at 9:10 PM
None of you dolts seem to have a coherent answer to this
January 25, 2026 at 8:02 PM
What, specifically, about the economic system of Russian is not capitalist?
January 25, 2026 at 7:32 PM
No it isn't. Capitalism is an economic system, and it's been happening for several centuries. You're confusing capitalism itself with the silly ideals of free market libertarians.
January 25, 2026 at 7:30 PM
That's not an economic system.
January 25, 2026 at 6:44 PM
What do you think Russia's current economic system is, if not capitalist?
January 25, 2026 at 6:40 PM
I also believe in very strict guardrails, which is precisely why I am wary of "free enterprise".

Free enterprise as an ideology is what American exploitative capitalism is based upon.
January 25, 2026 at 6:39 PM
Look at what I was replying to. What do you think was being implied?
January 25, 2026 at 5:43 PM
Do you think China is fascist?
January 25, 2026 at 5:41 PM
China has kind of a mixed economy. It's referred to as socialist market capitalism. It's a mix of state capitalism and highly regulated private ownership.

Do you think Russia and China have similar economic systems?

Do you think "fascism" is just another term for authoritarian?
January 25, 2026 at 5:37 PM
Also the KGB hasn't existed since 1991, you'd think an expert on Russia like yourself would know about the FSB
January 25, 2026 at 5:32 PM
I googled it and everything says Russia is a capitalist economy
January 25, 2026 at 5:30 PM
The KGB is running the Russian mob? Or are you saying the Russian mob is running the KGB?

...and if true, what makes it not capitalist? Capitalism is an economic system. What is the economic system in Russia?
January 25, 2026 at 5:27 PM
Let me get this straight, what you're saying is that decades after adopting a capitalist economy, the Russian mob, which is controlled by the KGB (?) is allowing the people to have a little bit of capitalism, as a treat to... prevent some kind of social disorder that would disrupt the status quo?
January 25, 2026 at 5:21 PM
The majority of Russians regret the fall of the USSR. It didn't make their lives better, the 90s was absolute chaos and it has led to a massive increase in extreme poverty.

You think that what happened in Russia after it switched to a capitalist economy was that the status quo was maintained?
January 25, 2026 at 5:12 PM
No it isn't. Capitalism isn't a set of ethical principles.

Saying that greed and exploitation are antithetical to the principles of capitalism is like saying murder is antithetical to the principles of war.

I get the feeling you don't know what capitalism is, and think it just means "trade".
January 25, 2026 at 5:07 PM
This is the American brain. They see the consequences of just handing everything to businesses as bad, but think the solution is more free market capitalism. Absolutely insanity.
January 25, 2026 at 4:57 PM
Yes. What do you think happened in 1991?

...and throughout the 90s, who orchestrated the "shock therapy" that dismantled the USSR?

Trump is a narcissist. He has no loyalty to Russia, that is just Blue Anon nonsense.
