Found it. The non-disparagement clause in 2K's employment contract from 2020. The whole thing was the most draconian read and the reason I pulled out of an interview (this was sent prior to a Zoom meet).

I'm already attending graduate program informationals to figure out if I want to become a regular therapist rather than a fake one, because that's half of production.
I had to personally spend a bunch of time "managing" the relationship between two devs because they were BOTH so unpleasant they couldn't communicate with each other.
if you wanna be mercenary about it bc you're allergic to soft and nice things: having a miserable teammate breaks feedback funnels and slows production. they break communication channels. people spend valuable time and energy tiptoeing around a volatile team member.

What gags me is that when we present our games to the world, we have to pretend that they have come from the ether. That they just shockingly appeared, and that it wasn't the sum of a lot of significant human effort; a slog against tall odds.
