community impact from the Tyson Foods beef plant closure in south-central Nebraska announced yesterday:
Many more work in jobs that support the plant and it's workforce, from tire shops to restaurants. It could well be more than half in the end. It will impact towns like cozad also.

I understand why some white liberals from the Deep South want to insist that there isn't something distinct (and bad) about Southern political culture but the problem with this is that we wouldn't even have this idea of "The South" as distinct from the rest of the US if there wasn't a there there

1) ssssllllooowwwwllly releasing old weekly export sales until they are caught up in January.
