please remember that no matter how many “ICE is losing in MN” articles you read today, there is still a very real, urgent, ongoing crisis in Minnesota.

people need food and they need rent money. that has not changed.

Let this be a moment to find our humanity. To be the ones pushing for a world where mutual aid and love guide us. The time of individualism and exceptionalism is coming to a close. This is the hope I carry to keep going.

Algo se rompe en EE. UU.
Agentes cazando personas. Redadas. Violaciones de derechos. Miedo. Silencio.

Pero no todos callan.
Miles salen a la calle. No por ideología, sino por justicia. Por humanidad.

La tiranía y la deshumanización nunca se detienen solas.
Resistan.

I just left the Everglades Immigrant Interment Camp. No, I’m not using their ridiculous name. It was a very tough to witness humans in those cages. Every Floridian should be ashamed that our taxpayer money is being used for this.

I have called my Rep’s D.C. office and asked her staff to find out how to stop the voting on the floor. The Repubs are keeping the “5 min” votes open for 2+ hours to get the votes needed to pass their anti-people legislation. Call yours too and tell them to stop the vote until procedure is clear.

Elderly and disabled people told Congress that cutting Medicaid could kill people and in response, they were arrested in their wheelchairs.

What the hell are we doing?
People in wheelchairs are getting arrested right now in the Russell Senate Office Building in DC. They showed up to tell Congress not to cut their Medicaid, because they cant afford health care without it. If you look closely you can see the zip ties on their hands. #WeWontGetOverLosingMedicaid
