As federal employees, we all have a choice about which side of history we stand on. In response, neighbors are rising up to protect one another. Crowds are confronting ICE and pushing them out of their communities, with some local law enforcement refusing to assist.

My union @swcolumbia.bsky.social has created a resource to support international students who are experiencing increasingly higher risk of immigration enforcement. We have done this on our own time while the University has remained silent and complicit.

On one hand I'm glad this article exists - I adore a sweet lil boozy social situation innit. On the other - the left struggles to find the language for addictions as is. Sans that - it's dangerous to encourage this too much.
