@smerconish We all saw the video. She was driving away. She is a US citizen so what jurisdiction does ICE have over her? What law says “all US citizens must stop their car if an ICE agent asks to see their face?” We know we stop our cars for cops. This man wasn’t a cop. What was his training?

@facethenation.bsky.social anyone who’s an independent contractor or freelancer (growing population!) has to get their own healthcare, they can’t rely on a corporate health plan like you all at CBS can, so we HAVE to have Obamacare. Insurance via a broker finds any little reason to reject people.

@cbssundaymorning.bsky.social you know what would unite us? If we all had healthcare. I have insurance , and yet got a $1,000 bill after taking my daughter to the ER!! on a Sunday her jaw was SWOLLEN and dentist said “bring her to ER” & ER took her temp, prescribed Augmentin,& sent bill for $1,000!

@cbssundaymorning.bsky.social private equity shouldn’t be allowed to own rental properties. This is someone’s. Companies shouldn’t be profiting off of people’s hardship. This is what happens when you take personal compassion and relationships out of transactions. AND credit scores shld be outlawed.

My son’s friend’s mom told me “I heard you run a tight ship”… I was surprised and didn’t know what she was talking about, but also felt complimented bc I often wonder if I’m too lax. 🫣 Then I asked my son about it and he said “yeah you run a tight ship but that’s what keeps the ship afloat!” 🥰❤️
