I'm... I'm considering running for a local elected office. I'm kinda scared, and kinda excited about it. I would need 200 signatures from locals, and I couldn't even start collecting till next month but... maybe?

So I just found out I'm not getting promoted because I lack initiative and don't like working long or off hours. I contest the later, if they gave me a heads up I'd have been, well not fine but more indifferent. As for the initiative, yeah that tracks.

Had french toast with my parents. Apparently my mom is convinced something big is going to happen in January related to politics? I'm kinda hoping the orange goes bad and this whole thing implodes on itself. We'll still be worse off than before but we can start trying to fix things.

Had a good Christmas eve dinner. Do wish that my parents weren't sick, they could have been there too then. So was my cousin, ugh. Something going around.

I took the wrong day off too, should have taken the eve so I could head to family dinner at any time that day. I also realized that the first is a day off for me and I should've taken the 2nd off, since then its 3 days, then off, the a Friday.

Ahh, Mondays. And I get to travel too. Hopefully we have enough good work done in Fargo we don't need to pull 50-60 a hour week.

I'm home long enough for laundry, then back to Fargo. And it cold. It cold in North Dakota. IT cold.
Just another week of this though.

I'll be in Fargo again next week, probably pulling another 50-60 hours week. I do not like working more than 40 hours as I am salaried and do not get overtime, and even if I clocked my hours I would only get straight overtime.
I also slightly struggle with 40 hours weeks as is.
