Slavery in America was not that long ago. My great grandfather was a slave. I have his numerous documents, letters, eyeglasses. He existed & survived. They don’t want future generations to know the horrors.

Imagine someone saying we need to stop talking so negatively about the truth of history and more about the hope and progress. All once marginalized peoples should stand against this rhetoric, including Jewish, Japanese and Italian people.
