And todsy's jaunt, given that we've just had two successice days of sunny weather, was on the old main road from Settle to Long Preston. This is the view from near Hunter Bark looking over to the "main" road to Airton with Attermire Scar in the distance.

Hmm, don't seem to have posted here for a while, so here's a photo of the River Skirfare in Littondale. Yes, there's no water flowing, but that's not because it's dry - the river's goes underground when the flow drops.
