I finished Acre Crisis and it was an odd one. Very similar to Jurassic Park Trespasser with the bizarre movement. It was fun shooting dinosaurs to get a higher score and cashing in that score for new weapons, but if a dinosaur gets too close you stop shooting. If you like dinosaurs wait for a sale.

Just finished Butcher's Creek and it's a pretty good dark gory horror game with goofy kick physics. Reading the little notes left behind by the cultists was really fun and the atmosphere/sound design was top notch. Game was a bit short so you might want to wait for a sale before jumping in.

The tools you have access in this game can make a lot of challenges in this game much easier, but specifically the red tools use a separate currency which means if you run out after multiple boss attempts you have to grind enemies which makes me conflicted whether it was a good limit to have.

Despite my enjoyment of the game it still does a lot of things that I personally find funny like very long boss runbacks, hidden areas that don't have a crazy good reward, and a bunch of traps! I also thought I would miss the charms from Hollow Knight, but they got replaced with a much better system

I finished Hollow Knight: Silksong and it was pretty fantastic! Compared to the first game the art, movement, music, challenge, and the overworld felt like improvements across the board! This will be a lot of peoples GOTY and it has the chance to be mine too!

I finished Metal Garden and it was pretty good. The atmosphere, vibes, and landscapes were beautiful to look at and the FPS gameplay was decent. Only negative is the game is very short at about 2 hours and I was craving more by the time I finished it.

I completed Noobs are Coming and it's a decent Brotato-like with an MMO theme. It's fun to play as the villain trying to defeat the heroes and the different builds are interesting, but it's easier than Brotato and the builds don't get as wild as in Brotato. This is still worth checking out on sale.

I finished Mashina and it was a ruddy good time! The art was beautiful, the music was good, and the robots were cute! It's a very chill and relaxing experience. Just like Judero there was a lot of heart and soul that went into this game and best of all YumYum is in it!

I finished Suit for Hire and its kind of like playing the video game version of John Wick. The action is good, but enemies look the same regardless of region, the later areas feel underdeveloped, and some of it felt a bit jank. Still had a great time with it, but I'd wait for a sale.

I finished Look Outside and it was a very good and spooky RPG. Beautiful (and grotesque) visuals, multiple endings, good soundtrack, and the gameplay can get pretty tense when I'm low on supplies. I highly recommend checking this unique indie game out!

I went to Mexico for vacation and it was a very fun time!

I played Dino D-Day and it's a good time! It's a wacky PvP dinosaur game where the nazis found a way to resurrect the dinosaurs and it's our job to make them extinct again! Not a lot of modes or unique characters besides snipers or medics. It's on sale for $1 and for that price I'd say its worth it.

I beat Fossilfuel 2 and it was alright. The platforming sections were jank and some of the boss fights were on the frustrating side, but I could tell for a solo dev that a lot of heart went into it. With a bit more polish I could see the game being great, but for now it's just ok.

I've had a Balatro addiction for the past 3 months and I get how it won indie game of the year last year. The sound effects, the little *dings* each card makes, and the joy of creating a build so broken that the game can't even register the number. Very simple game and now one of my fav Roguelites.

I beat Children of the Sun and it's a pretty interesting puzzle shooter where you guide your single sniper bullet through the heads of evil cult members! It's fairly simple and short, but the new enemies and powers you unlock make it interesting. Final level sucked, but I had a great time otherwise!

The bag is secured.

The monsters all have such generic names and the game lacks a need to "prepare" for any hunt. There also weren't a lot of people to hunt with, but at least the graphics were decent and the combat felt good. Overall the game has potential, but I don't think Wild Hearts is worth it for more than $15.

Just finished playing Everything is going to be OK and contrary to the title I don't think everything is ok. The game is very bizarre, violent, and charming with a few cute point and click games with lots of reading. For $1 it was an experience that was worth it and streamer mode was funny!

I finished Hazelnut Hex and it was a pretty good and short
Shoot 'Em Up with a lot of great visuals! When I say short I mean you can finish the game in about 30 minutes, but it's still worth checking out

Been playing Soulstone Survivors and it's a very solid Survivors-like game! Ton of skills, a lot of ways to make an OP build, and a lot of characters to try out (but they all sorta feel the same). It's in early access still, but I can't wait to see what they do with it next!

Very happy to help back @king-spooner.bsky.social and @taloketo.bsky.social newest game on Kickstarter...Mashina! Also equally happy to see it get fully funded!

Overall this game is like Baked Sweet Potatoes in the Autumn season! Music is solid, pixel art is charming, evolving weapons/armor is very satisfying, and it looks like there is quite a lot of post game content too! Despite being a port of a phone game it feels substantial! Bokyuun!

I just beat Dandy Dungeon - Legend of Brave Yamada and it was pretty great! It starts off as a game dev creating their first game and adding more features to their game based on the circumstances of their life. Who doesn't relate to the struggles of a single jobless hairy 36 year old man?

I beat Clickolding.
