In 2017, I got more ambitious: I adapted the asteroid scene from "The Empire Strikes Back."

This time the sprite wasn't fixed in place — the Millennium Falcon needed to zip around.

This piece was released in Blocktronics' "Detention Block AA-23" artpack.

Since Windows still supports displaying ANSI encoded text, I sometimes use ANSI codes in my text output of some programs I write. It is a lot easier to write something like "\x1b[34m" then to call the other APIs for changing text color.

Question for my fellow humans?

Anyone able to answer some questions about Ye Olde MUD/MUSH/MUCK/MOO games? They were slightly before my time, but I am deeply fascinated by them.

Got an idea for a thing, and I wanna tap into that real life expertise.

Gave my site a small visual tune-up: separate layout tweaks for desktop and mobile, and the ASCII page header has officially been retired.

Do you know how many ppl have no idea what telnet is? I used to telnet into talkers in the 90s, green text on black background, ascii art log in screens. I miss those talkers, made some life long connections.
