Teachers are freaking superhuman. I ran into my old high school world history teacher last night and without missing a beat she remembered the most random fact about me that even *I* forgot after almost 20 years. Amazing.

It stresses me out that my kid goes to a CSTEM school and knows things like coding and PowerPoint basics, yet has never been taught home row typing. I’d honestly rather her learn that than cursive at this point!

Randomly just remembered that my creepy English professor in college brought a guest speaker in who was an admitted statutory rapist and tried to get us to sympathize with him. I believe he even served time if I remember correctly. Unreal.

I just really wish I had at least one friend who matched my intense friendship energy. Casual friends are lovely and I’m grateful for them, but I want to shower someone with my friendship and for once have it be consistently returned.
