There were 115 prisoners mistakenly released in the last year of the last Conservative Government.

Andrea Jenkyns was a Tory Minister and MP then.
Lee Anderson was a Tory MP then.
Danny Kruger was a Tory MP then.
Sarah Pochin was a Tory councillor then.
Zia Yusuf was a major donor Tory then.

SPOILER ALERT: Social Democracy is not Communism. Franklin D. Roosevelt was to all intents and purposes a Social Democrat. His "New Deal" was a Social Democratic policy that turned out to be the most popular policy in American history.

Apparently there have been ‘dozens’ of prisoners wrongly released annually for many years, but the main press & TV news channels seem only to have ‘found out’ about this in the past year. What’s changed? They would never be more lenient on a government of one party over another, would they? 🤷‍♂️

Shouldn’t the #BBC due to public service broadcasting rules, before any report by Chris Mason and Laura Kuenssberg have say ‘the following is a party political broadcast on behalf of the Conservative Party’?

The only senior minister who appears to recognise the scale of the threat is Ed Miliband - who was also one of the first leading politicians to challenge Rupert Murdoch.

This is what he said in his conference speech last month, before making it clear to journalists he thought govt should leave X.

X is a cesspit led by an unhinged billionaire who is desperately trying to stir up civil war in Britain.

Nobody with any sense or decency should be there.

No organisations, government departments, or politicians should be there.

Everyone who is, is enabling this monster.

"On social media, the report said MPs should feel “empowered to step away from platforms that pose more harm than benefit.”

Absolutely. Please get on with it.

Am wondering if all of those suddenly deciding they’re against communities living “parallel lives” might reconsider their support of religious schools? Or indeed private ones?

He doesn't want areas where there is a 'preponderance' of one race over another. My kids school in rural Suffolk had one black family in a school of 1200 pupils. But that's not what he means, is it?
Wow. Robert Jenrick doubles down by branding a black journalist's questions "ridiculous" and saying that the problem is not his comments, but "journalists like you who pop up and try to knock me down", adding that "this is the reason why terrorist attacks happen". ~AA

So according to Jenrick, 'not integrated' means black/brown faces outnumbering white faces. How very dare they. Nothing to do with whether they're actually integrated – just what they look like.

Absolutely shameful.

He'll probably become Tory leader.
Jenrick says, Handsworth the area I went to school in isn’t integrated as he didn’t see a white face and the closest he has seen to a slum? So is he saying we should pay minorities much more for their low paid jobs and welcome them to The Cotswolds with their mosques and temples???

The primary aim must be getting the govt off X. This offers the possibility of a cascade effect taking journalists etc off it. We need to seperate the national debate from the extremism engine.

Odd that this deliberate tax avoidance hasn't had days and days of media scrutiny and been the top news story 🙄

Britain has been multicultural for the last 2000 years. That's why we have the Roman alphabet, a Middle East religion, Arabic numerals, a Syrian patron saint, an aristocracy with French ancestry and a German royal family.

I replied to a #ElonMusk tweet where he called Britain ‘totalitarian’ for arresting a woman for vandalism. I asked him what that made the USA, seeing what ‘ICE’ have been up to. He never replied, but for some strange reason I found myself blocked from X this morning. So much for ‘free speech’!
