Something positive I’m hanging onto pretty tightly is that I recently joined my local Medical Reserve Corps.
I can volunteer for non-emergent local events *and* help with local & national disaster relief efforts. 🙌🏼🥹

So, my good friend/coworker got into a near-fatal car accident last month (which was fatal for his best friend/our coworker) & is afraid to go to his follow-up PCP appt because he’s worried about the medical bills he’s piled up so far & doesn’t think he can afford it.
