I have a gently used stroller, and a pack n play - would you be able to use those? (Probably a few other items like that but can't think off the top of my head)

i say all this not to be pessimistic. i know people are desperate for a win—and we should celebrate the wins, big and small.
but bovino leaving chicago doesn't mean masked feds aren't gonna stop terrorizing our communities. they've been doing that for decades.
we can't lose focus of that.

My first instinct as well when it was first reported a few days ago. ICE will still be here in some capacity & still terrorizing folks. Important to stay vigilant for the foreseeable future given everything happening everywhere all at once.

Reminder that just this year Alds. Ray Lopez and Silvana Tabares introduced an ordinance to rollback protections to once again allow CPD to work with ICE if they claimed it was related to any gang, drug, or prostitution activity. Nine other alders supported it.

Can the receiver be trusted to get these folks the assistance needed to secure housing and relocate?!
