Bixby didn't play the Hulk though. Lou Ferrigno did. Bixby only played Bruce Banner.

@vcorenmitchell.bsky.social Would "7: Hall and Oates" have been an acceptable answer? Or did the number have to double each time?

How I spent my afternoon at the allotment. I'd accumulated not one but three piles of cut buddleia and pyrocantha branches which were getting in the way so a bonfire was required. Night Sight on the Pixel 8 makes this look way lighter than it actually was, it was taken an hour after sunset!

I flew to Canada this week to go to a Paul McCartney concert and I wrote about it here:

We went to see the production of John le Carré's The Spy Who Came In From The Cold at Soho Place this evening. I'm a diehard Carréphile, so I suppose it was leaning on an open door with me, but even so - I couldn't have liked it more. The performances, the adaptation, the staging - all fabulous.

Not the first to make this point. But there is a tyrant in charge of another country who is accused of being heavily linked to a paedophile sex ring - and supposed ‘patriots’ in this country are passionately willing him to take down our national broadcaster. Madness.

Ah the 1970s.

Stagflation, three day weeks, collapsing infrastructure. Civil War in Northern Ireland. In yer face racism and bigotry everywhere. Bin strikes. Strikes in general. Blackouts. Industrial decline. Wage inequality. Dog crap everywhere. And households spent 25% of their income on food.

Deeply naff design and typography and a pic that looks like a passport photo but oh boy, the music inside: www.discogs.com/release/8954...

It's long since been superseded by much more comprehensive collections, but this was the best there was when I started digging into 'Plonk', maybe it still is?

The Israeli military killed 46 Palestinian children overnight.

That's 10 more than the total number of Israeli children killed on 7th October.

Yet there was more outrage over the fictional beheadings of Israeli babies than these 46 kids.

That's easy: because there's no outrage
