The U.S. Constitution established the three branches of government as a system of checks and balances to prevent any branch from overstepping its authority. If the executive branch can disregard judicial rulings, then the judiciary’s role in interpreting and enforcing the law has been nullified. 1/

I think something people want from their representatives is a coherent worldview.
Developing an opinion worth holding requires work and we need to elevate people who have done this work to build a full perspective on how things should be, rather than only holding complaints on how it shouldn’t.
