Gatherings with extended family are so weird cause you can go and nothing bad will happen the whole time and no one will be mean to you and you still get home and hit with a crushing feeling of “I will never be truly understood or wanted” like what’s UP with that

I don't think I have OCD but I like to think of myself as a sort of honorary member of the OCD community, due to being a touch emetophobic and having some bad brushes with health anxiety in the past.

Every playboi carti song I hear has like, interesting production, but I either find his vocals so offputting it ruins the production, or it's so lyrically thin I can barely call it a song. Very strange listening experience.

Gonna say something brave and correct. I think Sombr is good. I don't like that he's only 20 - it scares me, but I think he's good. Yes, he comes very to close to overdoing the reverb, but I think he pulls it off.

Kind of insane how good of an executive dysfunction hack it is to set a timer on my phone and slide it out of reach on the floor. I guess this wouldn’t work as well if you have carpet lol. But as someone for whom task initiation is the biggest thorn in my side it’s amazing.

My body has started doing this fun thing where instead of making me feel thirsty when I'm dehydrated, it'll give me an array of other weird symptoms. Like uncontrollable coughing or jaw tension that won't release through normal means. It's so cool I love solving mysteries.

Oh dear. I've found that unfortunately singing really helps with the tension I get in my head and jaw. I don't sing much anymore in any context cause I don't want to risk annoying anyone. But I also really don't like being in pain so much lol

I have a professional organizer coming tomorrow, which is probably something I should have done years ago, and there’s almost zero chance it won’t be a net positive, but I’m still filled with some dread. It’s like facing all my demons and worst fears at once.

Are you supposed to tell people when it's your birthday. Like is it normal. I never do, cause I get nervous that I'll seem attention-seeking or that people will be annoyed that they have to pretend like they care or that maybe I should be embarrassed that people don't already know.
