Such a rarity. Tim Cook -- passionate ambassador for Canadian military history, and someone who was able to articulate and disseminate so well to so many. His loss is a real blow, made more painful at the young age of 54. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...

In its very short time on the waters the laker "James Carruthers" was the largest Canadian-built ship on the Great Lakes. And then the White Hurricane of 1913 took it and others to the bottom. Now, over 100 years after disappearing with all hands, she's been found. www.npr.org/2025/09/10/n...
