Two years ago today we were awarded the Congressional Gold Medal for protecting The US Capitol on January 6th 2021. Almost 4 years later the efforts to downplay, whitewash and minimize what happened appear to be succeeding. I won't ever stop standing up to them.

Over a year since its illegal felling, we're making sure the legacy of the Sycamore Gap tree lives on 🌳
When the Sycamore Gap tree was felled last September, we recovered 49 saplings from its roots as part of our 'Trees of Hope' initiative - one to represent each foot in height of the tree.

Self-care today was brunch with Brit friends, a nap in a soft blanket, a big bowl of Birds Custard and a cuppa for dinner and a bubble bath later ❤️

Progress! I had Covid 4 weeks ago and finally got my worst task done with catch-up cleaning - deep cleaned the bathroom - now for a cuppa and a rest before tackling the next chore :)

🤣 Just heard my husband go in the garage and say “Hello Tank, hello Rosie, hello Brutus, hello Greenie, hello Hondie” to our cars, snowblowers and lawnmower. He says goodnight to them every night too before locking the door 😂🤣

Today: Docs for antidepressants, counseling booked, deleted Twitter, decided not to give up. Not bad progress considering I woke up crying again this morning. I’m proud of myself.
