I'm not Labour but their candidate in my constituency (an actual refugee) is a decent man who I respected long before he became a Parliamentary candidate.
He came so close & I'd give a tactical vote to support him again but now wonder whether Mahmood will have had him deported before next election.

Trying to imagine what this policy would have meant for my grandfather and his friends, facing the constant uncertainty of when and whether they would have been deported, after fighting to save this country from the Nazis
