Let us not forget that Trump used Venezuela as a scapegoat in his 2020 defeat. Something about them owning the voting machines. That issue will almost certainly come back up in the midterms. With Maduro in custody, it wouldn't be surprising if the whole conspiracy gets a reboot.

I firmly believe we lost the debate on climate change when we stopped talking about pollution. Some folks don't have the mental capacity to evaluate long-term atmospheric impact, but most people wouldn't volunteer to breathe from a tailpipe. It needs to be that simple to get the masses onboard.

I've had the distinct displeasure of working with narcissists in power before. The thing that sticks with me is how most people really don't see it, or excuse it because they were convinced the narcissist is the only person who can do the job that well. Absolutely mind blowing.

The Google News feed is now full of .gov releases. We are dangerously close to single source news and government control of all narratives. Terrible decision by Google IMO.
