If I were running the DNC, there would be Democratic Party sponsored food relief banks across the country right now that specifically welcomed anyone regardless of party affiliation.

Along with the food, there could be voter registration and links to runforsomething.net

Lots of (appropriate) outrage about the Brown student survey meddling but I’ve heard less nationally about what’s going on in Ohio (state inserting a required “bias” question into our surveys & requiring we be reviewed on it).

Good morning! I'm in Uganda to visit family and friends.

But depending on your perspective, don't worry or I'm sorry: I'll be back by the end of the month.

See you soon, NYC.

Things that have been defunded or are on the chopping block but are not police

Public Schools
FDA
Universities
Libraries
USAID
Health & Human Services
Illness & disease research
Air traffic
Housing assistance
Medicaid
Air quality control
USDA
Food banks
Veterans assistance

Ah, character limit
Since the argument about “defund” being a bad word to use in political discourse is going on again, I will just observe that the present regime has made such violent terms as “diversity,” “equity” and “inclusion” disqualifying words to use.

There is no word that can’t be turned into the wrong word.

Meet Judy Bardes. She's 93, going on 94, and she was out on the road outside the Quadrangle senior community in Haverford, Pa., protesting Trump's tyranny. This spring's anti-Trump protests are her very first, and she tells me "it's scary to think what I'm fighting against."

So… this was supposed to be about Paul Revere’s ride, but the Senator just unloaded about the Trump administration and its Republican enablers. Far more newsworthy than I expected. (You can probably see me shifting to “crap, this was not the interview I prepped!” but the result was memorable.)

Why Kilmar Abrego Garcia is the Jenga piece that could topple the American Experiment | Will Bunch
The Trump regime lies about a Salvadoran laborer and dad because the truth of his humanity could unravel their dream of autocracy.
