The imposing and poignant 5.2m high Commando Memorial near Spean Bridge. Sculpted by Scott Sutherland, it was unveiled in 1952 as a memorial to the commandos; whose wartime basic training centre had been at nearby Achnacarry Castle. More pics and info: www.undiscoveredscot...
