I fly around the world racking up EQMs and going to the Hard Rock Cafe. You may know me as the person behind Pan Am Bag.
Now when I watch the Simpsons, I’m not Lisa playing the saxophone and getting perfect grades, I’m 43 year old Marge going through perimenopause. That is how long this show has been on, lol

My first flight of 2026 will be an E175, I guess we'll see if it has the new wi-fi or not. 2+ hours is probably the longest E175 flight I've ever taken, which sucks, but whatcha gonna do. If I get upgraded to first, the tray is probably going to slide off that dinky table into my lap.

Watching the most recent American Masters, about Dick Van Dyke. Seeing Carl Reiner makes me sad for their whole family, but I guess thank god he didn't live to see his son get murdered by his grandson.

This is incredible -- if the claims are true that the Skagit crest height was reduced by 4-5 ft (consistent with some forecasts), this emergency measure may have saved hundreds of millions in damage to Mt. Vernon and other towns along the Skagit river.

Got my tires topped off at the dealership. ✅ Who know that living close to the dealership would come in handy so many times over the past year?!? Now the check engine light is on again. I suppose I should make an appointment for 1/2 so that it will count towards next year's EQMs

It wasn't long ago that women were forced to have a male co-signer to get a credit card or a home loan.

Now, the Trump administration wants to end protections against such discrimination.

Take 45 seconds today to say "No way." nationalfairhousingalliance.salsalabs.org/ecoaregb/ind...
The Notice of Proposed Rulemaking released by the CFPB would eviscerate longstanding fair lending and consumer protections in three dangerous ways:

The story of Hanukkah is one of resilience, strength and hope.

That is especially resonant now, as so many Washingtonians are experiencing historic flooding, and the Jewish community is reeling from the terrorist attack in Sydney.

Going to the Symphony during a Seahawks game is not optimal as far as parking at the light rail. I finally found a spot after a lot of circling, but barely made the train. Whew! And my low tire pressure light is on (and my check engine light is still on), ugh

Yesterday's flight was my last for the year, so this is the final total, just a tiny bit higher than last year. (except the trip to Dorkfest is on the other Flight Memory, so my total miles for the year is actually 70,406, and add in 2 more Alaska flights)

Of course, I'm rooting for Oregon in the playoffs. But, if Oregon gets eliminated by losing to Indiana a second time, then I'm rooting for Indiana to win it all.
It could be the greatest turnaround in college football history: the undefeated Big Ten champions, the Indiana Hoosiers. 60 Minutes, Sunday.

UGH
Officials in Mount Vernon today emphasized that we are not out of this yet.

We're expecting strong winds early next week that could knock over trees already vulnerable from flooding, in addition to more rain. Please stay alert and be prepared.

Stopped by the FEMA response center in Bothell to thank everyone working around the clock to keep communities safe during the floods and storms.

I'll keep pushing in the Other Washington to make sure folks get the federal resources they need to respond and recover.

Thank you to Chef José Andrés and World Central Kitchen! So grateful for all those helping our state get through this.
WCK teams delivered our first meals in Burlington, Washington to first responders and families impacted by recent severe weather. Residents of nearby Mount Vernon came to pick up sandbags to fortify their homes, and we made sure they also had sandwiches in hand before they left. #ChefsForWashington
