I'm a bit baffled as to why Tezgel is out on loan when we take other club's loan players. He's 20, no longer a kid, either he should be fighting for a place at Stoke, or he needs to look elsewhere.

Emre Tezgel: Crewe Alexandra striker a role model at 20, says Kenny Lunt
Crewe Alexandra's on-loan Stoke City striker Emre Tezgel is already proving to be a role model, says player development boss Kenny Lunt.

If you think you are having a bad day today just imagine what the person who forgot to password protect the OBR's #Budget statement is thinking.

Having watched the Budget, taken time to reflect, and spoken to a reasonably diverse range of people, my conclusion is Rachel Reeves did much better than I expected.
Overall, a very decent effort #Budget2025

Badenoch is awful to listen to. She is odious and I haven't met anyone who can relate to her, regardless of party preference. Why are the @conservatives.bsky.social putting up with her ? #Budgetresponse

Can't help but think that had Rachel Reeves made that speech last year, then Labour may not be where they are today. #budget #budget2025

Super cover for the December/Christmas Cheshire Life Magazine.
There's lots of festive coverage inside, including my round-up of Christmas around the Cheshire towns.

Now it is Keith Bott, MD Titanic Brewery, giving his #Budget views on BBC TV. He is looking for a fairer system, asking why do physical businesses, such as pubs, pay more than those online? He says it is much better for people to be sociable in a pub, rather than drinking at home.

Is Farage's defence, yes, I sang Fascist songs, spoke against Jews, but didn't 'directly' abuse them? That's absurd.

Here's Daniel Canavan of the Spark Group on the BBC News Channel.
I have helped the BBC to arrange pre-Budget coverage from Stoke-on-Trent today.
Dan mentioned the need for more support to create apprenticeships.
There'll be more coverage later this afternoon.

Creating a new customs union would help hugely. We can't go into the EU's customs union, as we would need to rejoin the EU and there aren't moves right now towards a new referendum, but we could create a customs union with the EU.
Across the country, people are backing our plans to cut the cost of living, cut energy bills, save the high street and create a new customs union with Europe. ⬇️

Scotland's Ben White showing once again he's among the best scrum halves around. I wonder if he fancies swapping the delights of Toulon for the less obvious attraction of Salford and a return to the Prem with Sale Sharks? After all, he wouldn't be far from his childhood home in North Staffordshire.
