First case, they asked the man to raise his right hand to be sworn in. He raised his left. They swore him in anyway.
Later was a case against a man who recently died, the judge confirmed this as he attended the funeral. He then consulted me about the cause of death.

Jealous of anyone who still has stamped license plates. Tennessee went flat ages ago, I’m sad to say.

I went to Disney World when I was 14, having previously visited when I was around 5 or 6. The magic was completely gutted by my adolescence and on the final day of the trip, I refused to leave our motel room. Why anyone would want to go as an adult is beyond me, but hey, more power to you.

Currently watching the final season of Boston Legal, they’ve just now had the 2008 election, and folks, for all the similarities and foreshadowing of events to come, things sure were a helluva lot simpler back then.

Today is the birthday of artist Alfredo Alcala (Aug. 23, 1925-April 8, 2000). His first comic work was published in 1948 in the Philippines & he began working for US publishers in 1971. His career included work on Conan, Planet of the Apes, the Star Wars newspaper strip, & his own creation, Voltar.
