Thirty years ago we were happy just to write a check for groceries on Wednesday and not have it clear the bank until Friday after our paychecks got deposited.

Have you run any of the benchmark tests like Cinebench? They can be cool just to get an idea of your system’s capabilities.

I remember back in the Windows XP days, ripping with whatever box store prebuilt I had at the time, and it being an overnight job. Set it and forget it, because you could forget doing anything else for a few hours.
