Quick trail stop to @lagrandiabla_ for some takeout. What a cool venue! They do Mexican favorites as well as Mexican-sushi fusion, which was outstanding. We grabbed the enchiladas suisas, pulpo taco, and 3 fusion rolls.

Grabbed dinner and drinks at the Monterey Beach Hotel. Amazing views, great food and cocktails and local beers. Definitely worth a stop on the Hoppy Trail. Their restaurant The Lantern Room uses almost exclusively local ingredients. Remember to Always say Yes! To the Hoppy Ending! Cheers
Thawed out some “bbq steaks” from the 1/4 beef we bought at the county fair. Figured out they were bottom round steaks. Decided to make some italian beef sandwiches! Whipped up our go-to Hoppy Trails giardiniera and everything was alright! Remember to Always say Yes! To the #HoppyEnding! #Cheers.

Remember: when you wake up to a power outage, your local bagel and donut shop finished cooking while you were still warm in your bed. Fresh bagels are great even untoasted, and donuts don’t need anything. They usually have hot coffee prepped too if you get it before they run out.
