I see the big 5 “American lagers” have brought these back, although I’ve never seen them. It also appears there is some history in the mid 20th century, but that could also just be referring to the oldschool 12 oz short necks (ass opposed to the common long neck bottles popular today).

Interesting read on these stubbies. A quick Google and it looks like some craft breweries are putting good beer in them here in the US. Who knew?! Time for a deep dive!

It’s true, we reviewed and it’s a great sauce. We’ve used it straight up as a braising liquid, mixed it with Greek yogurt for a dip, and just eaten it straight up as a sauce on various foods! Lots of ways this sauce can get you to a Hoppy Ending!

We cook everything the day before so the beef can refrigerate overnight. Try to slice the beef even at room temp it will shred/crumble. Slice the cold beef thin, warm in the saved juices, then dip either top or both slices of bread for max flavor.

We love making birria, especially for quesabirria tacos. This is birria de res, meaning it was made with beef. In Mexico different regions use goat or lamb instead of beef. All are super delicious. It takes all day to do right, but it’s worth the time and effort. #HoppyEnding #HoppyTrails

Not hip to this one, we were fans of True Blood (Sookie Stackhouse Diaries I think?). What 90s show would these be most like? (And don’t just say Buffy because vampires unless the character development and social groups are similar to Buffy)🧛♀️
