It’s not lost on me that the whole ✨it only affects ppl with pre existing conditions, so it doesn’t matter if we leave disabled ppl to die✨ sentiment of the pandemic helped to popularize this line of thinking for a lot of ppl….. and I’m not just talking about Israel either.

Why is it that in the small little microcosm that is my community, largely the only people actively sponsoring and supporting families from gäzā are the ones who have some kind of disability (physical or mental)...? Like debateably it's harder for us to do literally any task but yet...?!??
