Happy Black History Month!! We’ve got new and used titles from incredible Black authors (such as these), and a new shipment of even more coming in next week! ✊🏾🖤

Though we should so EVERY month, Feb is a great time to take in history and celebrate folks who have contributed so much to our society.

Our opening day was so amazing! So thankful to all who stopped by to support us!! 💕

We feel so strongly about access to good books, especially now more than ever. Being booksellers and helping spread literature and enlightenment makes us feel like we're part of something larger than ourselves.

We hope this will be your reaction when you see our store on Saturday!

"Soft open" means it won't be 100% how we'd like it to be -- but we hope we'll still make a good first impression!!

Saturday we'll be open from 10am until 5pm with the Small Business Saturday Pop-Up event happening from 10-3.

Today we'd like to share this scathing read from Dr. King and reaffirm our intention to continue striving homeward toward a better society. As Dr. King also said, "Freedom only comes through persistent revolt, through persistent agitation, through persistently rising up against the system of evil."

Our soft open is coming up SOON!! We're so thankful for all the help we received from friends today to really grind out some of the last big projects. 😭💕🙏🏽
