Great article. Tariffs give us an economy of limitless power for gigantic trusts. They profit off the higher prices paid by consumers, who pay more for fewer things to choose from. www.publicnotice.co/p/trump-mcki...
Trump's hopeless tariffs confusion, explained by a historian
"The president seems to believe he can impose prohibitively high tariffs *and* collect revenue, which you can’t do."

It's critical for everyone to remember what an Executive Order is. It is the President communicating orders to members of the executive branch. Policies to pursue, actions to take, etc. They are not laws. They are not close to being laws. They are formalized memos to employees. That's all.

If you’re not feeling great about things today, and you didn’t vote for or do all you could to help Kamala Harris, please bottle that feeling. We’ll need you to remember it for the 2026 midterms and 2028 elections.

I no longer believe art can save the world, but I believe still that it can save me. So in the face of chaos, misinformation, hatred & ignorance, I'm going to make more art, experience more, share more, pay for more & publish more. I started this in darkness & it'll continue to be my light. 🖤🤍

Remember, today especially, that MLK said America suffers not just from "the vitriolic words and actions of the bad people but for the appalling silence of the good people." Keep the faith. Keep up the fight.

I’m a scientist who studies how climate change impacts our lives and the places we love.

Most of us are worried, but many feel stuck on what to do. If that's the way you feel, check out this list below!

We can’t fix it alone, but I know we can together. 💚
