Critical Drinker is a drunk loser who knows fuckall about film but speaks on them as some sort of authority, constantly tripping over himself. Man couldn't even name a single Japanese film when asked what Japanese films he liked after singing their praises. He's a poser, a grifter, and a bore.

Well, sequel/prequel anyway.

I kinda hope it's more along the lines of the sequel, as it was deeply cathartic to see her killing people who deserved it.

All of this just hammers home how important good dubs are, especially for accessibility. Too many people don't seem to understand that not everyone can read subs.
