I definitely have been forcing myself to use “y’all” as a nice, gender neutral, 2nd person plural as part of eradicating “you guys” from my Midwestern vocab. Started with writing and that’s paved the way for speaking. It’s getting easier and more natural.

All through fiction and non-fiction history the characters that have interested me the most are the prophets and oracles. You see the concept of being able to see through an “uncrossable” boundary and being able to come back or otherwise return that knowledge is endlessly interesting to me
