Sheep are not all equipped to handle seeing a congenial two-headed, eight-legged dog come out of the darkness, even if they know the dogs individually. They will run. The dogs will decide something is chasing the sheep and trot dutifully after them. It is a terrible cycle.

I once woke up and I’d rotated the quilt by 180 degrees overnight. My poor partner…
