Trans rights are human rights. Human rights are inalienable, indivisible and interdependent: failing to fight for the rights of trans people is failing to fight for human rights, full stop.

I could go on all day about how prescient this is - essential reading.
But one more thing - man could throw shade. Penis envy is always amusing, but “ersatz penis” particularly tickled me (not literally thankfully).
Seriously though, these essays are so worth reading - toxic masculinity anyone?

There is so much in Ur-Fascism and the other essays in this little cheap book of Umberto’s works that are so so chilling and relevant. He’s saying exactly how it is before it comes about. “How to Spot a Fascist” is like £3 in Waterstones with another purchase.
