Slop is low effort, no heart. Not low budget! There is a big difference
Sorry, I know the word has already outstayed its welcome, but I think the main reason I don't like 'friendslop' is because I associate 'slop' with genAI, and I think it's useful to maintain that specific association. Let that be its rightful home, not as a descriptor for low-budget multiplayer games
