It’s the last couple days to donate to the pride fundraiser I’ve been running at work. We’ve raised £480 for Mind Out so far, but I’d love to push for a bit more ✨

Biggest achievement is coming 1st on a level in the golf/football game - Striker at IMPACT yesterday

I’ve been documenting the past year of my gender transition. It’s felt uncomfortable to write down my thoughts and take photos but I know my future self will cherish this

In the midst of all the horrid news, here’s something lovely. I’ve joined the LB committee @limitbreak.co.uk

I’m volunteering in the ops team and currently going through the applications!

They are on Electric Square’s DEI board and organised Lively Studio's 2024 Pride fundraiser which raised over £2000 for Mermaids charity. Hollie is also a member of the IMPACT 2024 cohort which showcases and celebrates disabled and neurodiverse developers. They studied Fine Art and later learned to code on a Next Gen Futures programming bootcamp designed to help marginalised people enter the industry. They were previously an Into Games IG50 winner and on Code Coven's Solstice Programme. Hollie's early career was made possible through initiatives that specifically support marginalised developers. They are fiercely passionate about helping these initiatives continue running and want to inspire more people without a technical background to learn about engineering.

Some of my favourite indie titles:

Had such a fun, sweet and wholesome time at New Game Plus, it brought back some much needed joy for games.

Got my hands on the Playdate for the first time and spent way too long pouring pints. The game about the T pose was of course, as brilliant as it sounds

The lifespan of birthday cake

I’ve basically just rinsed three games this year
Steam replay 2024. 17 games have been played, 128 achievements over 195 sessions and 12 new games. Games include Baldurs Gate 3 at 60% of playtime, Crusader Kings 4 at 14%, Manor Lords at 11% Sable at 7% and Planetiles at 2%

Went to a rainy trans pride yesterday. I marched with my people and we chanted for better healthcare, for our right to puberty blockers and hormones, for trans liberation and as always a free Palestine
