Done!
Here’s something easy you can do today. Block USA Today on Blue Sky.

If thousands of us can do it, we can have an immediate impact on their reach on social media.

Gift link to WSJ editorial that pulls no punches about Trump’s J6 pardons. This is a very conservative editorial board and they are disgusted. Worth circulating far and wide, especially to any conservatives you may know.

This hits! It feels so awkward to call my loved ones by their name. Too formal! There’s a name for this phenomenon: alexinomia.

Poetic. Chalk-lines. 🤓😍
Considering he's packing his entire administration with cheap, illiterate but preposterously vain thugs, I can't wait to see who murders who first... You can't have this much of a concentrated element of power-hungry criminality without chalk-lines...

Dear Denmark,

I’m so sorry. That phone call was inappropriate. I didn’t vote for him & do not support him bullying you. It’s embarrassing. I understand the Danish citizens in Greenland are in a precarious position. I wish I could help. We are all doomed.

The idea here is not just predatory looting by the billionaire class, but to cut the informational, administrative and coercive capacities of the state for *future* governments. If you hollow out the state bureaucratically it is rendered useless when your opponents come to power.

"Walmart makes the places it operates in poorer than they would be if it had never shown up at all. Sometimes consumer prices are an incomplete, even misleading, signal of economic well-being."

Fascinating studies on the broader effects of Walmart:

New research suggests that the company makes the communities it operates in poorer—even taking into account its famous low prices.

Looks like they are going to ignore budget cuts and global warming in favor of blaming the fires on DEI. I hate it here.
