Two years ago I wondered if software was getting worse. These days, however, it just seems as though updates are becoming increasingly irrelevant. I really don't care that I can add artificial bunnies to pictures 🙄 #repostfriday blog.ploeh.dk/2023/07/24/i...

I've had the pleasure of seeing Scott present at conferences in the past. Scott always delivers. I agree this is one of his best. Tech has changed a lot in the last 40 years, but it doesn't have to change what makes us human. Please watch.
Hey friends! I did a TEDx talk and it's now up on the TED Conferences YouTube. It's possibly the best and most important talk I've ever done.

I would ask that you watch it, and please SHARE it broadly and widely. Thank you! youtu.be/dVG8W-0p6vg #AI #Tech #TED

All that other garbage (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, ceremonies, frameworks, backlogs, Sprints, POs, SMs, after-the-fact reviews, meetings, standardized processes forced down people's throats—all the things people justifiably hate) not only has nothing to do with Agile but is actively destructive.

Technical Agile: Tiny iterations, continuous deployment, fast feedback from actual customers, adjust based on that feedback. Continuously improve the way you work.

Or at a high level: Work small, talk to each other, make people's lives better.

After playing a fictional member of the Resistance a long time ago, I never could have imagined it ever happening in real life, but here we are.
Mark Hamill posting rebellious content in a battle against a dictator and his robotic sidekick is the most Star Wars shit ever.

What confuses us over here is that we don't see large demonstrations (thousands of normal people each in many cities, not fifty activists in front of a Tesla shop) against the dismantling of entire U.S. federal government agencies and apparently illegal freezing of congressionally approved funds.

The AI overview is almost always at least a little bit wrong, and often completely wrong. Turn it off, if you’re able.
Wanna see a cool trick?

Google made this thing up all by itself. There is no such product/service.

It’s just baling wire and bullshit.
