Let me get this straight YoshiDen (ship that has someone who hates men and tried to kill Yoshida) and Yoshimiri (someone he's never seen) are treated as more realistic than Yoshimiko (someone he trusts, spends a lot of time with, gave him her heart and betrayed PS with him) #chainsawman

He didn't want Denji to transform because he wanted to continue being a high schooler. He wasn't obsessed with Denji he just didn't want the life he had to end.

That parallel works too....
The reason why I see them more as siblings is due to how extreme the circumstances have become & yet they have stayed friendly with each other.
Like Fumiko seemingly making a blood oath to Yoshida that she would help the 'winner'.... that seems more familial than buddy.
