In part one Kobeni Aki and the division 4 fiend's development had nothing to do with Denji. Right now Yoshida is in a position where only Fumiko is trusted since both betrayed public safety and are hated by Denji's group.

Pretty much, Fujimoto characters are rarely static her fandom obsession is what Yoshida talked about in his parasocial relationship talk. Maybe they help each other and grow to be better.
At the end of the day it's all about execution and how Fujimoto does it. I am hopeful

Yeah, that's fair akimeno is an iffy relationship too. I don't expect Yoshimiko to be sunshine and rainbows but I would like to see it grow into something. They are already partners in crime they betrayed public safety and are on everyone's bad side. This is a chance for mutual growth

True, it's just that Yoshida already trusts her and the way she treats Denji might not translate to how she treats Yoshida. She's not a good person but who knows where this goes. Yoshida is morally grey too. We could get either a redemption or a relationship between two survivors very common in ps.

yep, the way csm is people are rarely good for each other. But what Fumiko did is no different than what Himeno did. Himeno also molested Denji but she had feelings for someone else and didn't take away from Akimeno. Granted it's annoying that Fujimoto does this with most female characters but yeah

True but that's in the past and in a different context. It wasn't meant to be seen as romantic interest because she said that she bullies him because of her parents'death. She also views him as just a kid and abandoned him viewing him as an object. Now she's asking him to let himself be weaponized.

Easily fixed, we know there's a highschool festival coming soon so Fumiko is going to take Yoshida to experience a good time to cheer him up so he can work better

The whole of part two was him talking about highschoolers these days and being normal.
He got sad when he got replaced because it's basically go back to work fun is over.
He used his bodyguard job as an excuse to be a highschooler and chill.

He's a horrible person but the fandom isn't ready for that discourse yet.
