You just died, the sixth picture in your camera roll is what killed you.

The carrion crow that I thought I was being friendly to. Damn it. At least I’ll go out in a way that will make me a horror story legend. Moira Rose would be proud.

Nothing like being told you’re at an indoor venue for a 3 hour gig and you arrive and it’s actually outdoor. While it’s 90°s

The fact that Riordan is seeing things about his works translated to other mediums makes me giddy
Got to see some early concept art for PJOTV season three monsters and beasties yesterday. Really not fair to tease this since it is still so far away, but Holy Hera it looks good! I'll just be over here squealing internally for the next couple of years until I can share it with you. Carry on.

I just tried putting a cookies and cream yogurt into plain instant oatmeal to add sweetness and additional protein. So far it works!

At Les Mis last night in Alabama it was fascinating to watch the people seated in front of me who did *not* know the story.

(It’s musical theatre, so knowing the story ahead is not required. And not judging them for not knowing.)

Just saw Les Mis. I always knew that it was powerful but holy figaro that message hit hard today. Ègalitè!!!

I remembered that a friend had done a toga out of bed sheets and rope for a costumed Halloween concert and decided to look for a how to guide out of curiosity. This led me to this delightful page from the University of Nottingham’s Classics Dept.

Dressing for a toga party - Argonauts and Emperors

As a Star Trek fan and a scientist, I love this image, because Dr. Jemison is both a hero *AND* one of the few people for whom we can say "here she is doing her space job" in two totally different contexts. 🧪

@jodimeadows.bsky.social I’m 200+ pages into BFIG & I haven’t gotten through a single chapter without laughing, chortling, or making some sort of inhuman sound. I also keep yelling at my spouse that they must read it immediately. Thanks for a story that is brightening up a currently darkening world.
