I have just submitted an article to a leading journal in another discipline that relies heavily on another discipline that is not musicology. Here's hoping the peer reviewers do not laugh too hard.

Two older women brought me the compositions their mother had written out of the basement in laundry baskets.
When we say "no, everything hasn't been digitized," I need you to understand that we really mean is that virtually nothing has been digitized. This is because the realm of primary sources that historians use is incomprehensibly large.
Seems like it's worth posting this one again.
