I've recently discovered there's not just one fee for seeing a doctor-- There's the billing in which you have your appointment and do the doctor thing AND a separate billing FOR THE ROOM. One is covered by a copay and the other is not. HOW COOL IS THAT? Really great for care w/ regular follow-ups!

Dental insurance is such a scam. If you're an adult, they cover almost nothing except routine exams and maybe 10% of fillings. It's cheaper to pay out of pocket for everything! It's just a really shitty discount card that will cost you $100 a month for $800 worth of services. Grrr.
