Helped my brother make latkes for channukah dinner. He did brisket, carrots broccoli, and onions + mushrooms with the meat. Latkes turned out okay, slightly too thick (my fault)

am i being whack? I ask a guy to meld his gear later, not even immediately pressing him about it or whatever, and he ends up leaving and i get kicked?

Not the most photogenic, but made a chicken soup with lentils and lemon. Kind of improvved from a recipe, and forgot Greek yogurt so had to use sour cream to top, but quite good. Would probably do slightly more lentils or maybe add orzo too next time.

Ended up going with cats eye again this time silver and purple. Looks a bit like snow, I think.

Hard to take a good photo but did shawarma chicken with roast veggies (zucchini, carrots, Brussel sprouts). Pretty good with homemade white sauce and peri peri sauce.

realized ashling is a sorcerer in the new set, and i don't know how i feel about this typing.
I get they're trying to find a unique magic-user job for each color, but this feels very dnd-ish in a bad way, to me. i understand the aversion to the term shaman, but don't like this alternative
